The Wraparound Pegs are engineered to improve the grinding experience and the life of the product.
 
The Wraparound Pegs feature an engineered interface between the fork and peg, extending beneath the dropout. This reduces bending and shear stresses on the axle, changes them to compression and transferring them to the fork and peg in a far stronger arrangement.
 
Due to the way the peg and fork interact, there is no facility to rotate the pegs. To counteract this, the material on the grinding surface is a larger diameter and significantly thicker than that on the top face.
 
As the pegs are locked in position by the fork dropout, they can be assembled with the use of a single tool, which tightens the bolt directly into a thread cut into one of the pegs. 
 
This version of the Wraparound Pegs are manufactured from high tensile 4140 Chromoly steel and feature a Manganese Phosphate surface finish, which increases the hardness, lowers the coefficient of friction and binds better to waxes for better grinding.
 
This product will be slightly oily when new. The oil can be wiped off and is only there to soak into the pores of the material coating to protect it long term.
 
This edition of the classic Wraparound Pegs features no bevel at the end for better control when performing tricks which require contact between shoes and the peg.
 
Please note that due to the highly optimised geometry of this product, it is only compatible with the Riderdesigned Ceremonial Fork at this time.
 
This particular variant is quite a tight fit but will still work as intended. Riderdesigned will test fitted before shipping.
